Why is there Divorce, and is it according to God’s plan?

Why is there Divorce?

Divorce is a term that, in legal terms, means: “the legal dissolution of a marriage by a court or other competent body.” To understand why divorce occurs, we must build a complete understanding of marriage; otherwise, the truth cannot be revealed.

In the Bible, marriage is very honorable in God’s sight. He said to keep the bed undefiled. Once a couple is married, they both take vows to fulfill in their walk with the Lord. As believers, we must encourage our spouse and also give them space to digest the work and examine his steps they’re taking. First of all, they must agree on major terms like religions, political issues, government rules, and take minor conflicts on minor issues like hanging out, going to a party, or breakfast issues.

Marriage centers around loving one another. The Bible says to men that they should love their wives, and wives should love their husbands. The head of their house is to be God, and then the man who takes responsibility.

If the man is incapable of handling matters related to family, then many cases like why is there divorce arise. Also, if the spouse within a vast array of time not been attentive to the spouse for a long time, they start finding love elsewhere. They commit adultery, which is breaking the bond of marriage, and they perish in the law that God has given.

Jesus said, in case the reason is adultery, there is no need for taking divorce for other cases, as that is not fornication, that is cheating on one, which separates the bondage and brings upon trust issues.

These days, people get divorced because of too many reasons. Like arguments, debates, abuse of wives and children are affected the most. When a believer starts to disobey God, he ends up being viral. He cannot sense or reason himself, and so, out of a compelling situation, without a second thought, files a divorce case.

In this case, the wife or other partner, in case of vice versa, should take every effort to cling to the relationship without being willing to end it. If one partner is devoted, he/she will try their best not to break the bond that God has planned and settled from the start.

In the present times, modern world, the rate of divorce is escalating too high. In the case of non-believers, it’s too often. If the family foundation is not strong, then leading the family into a fruitful relationship with duties cannot bring much fruit. When both partners’ mindsets are not on the same page, and there is misalignment, there is a sure reason to end up being separated.

But we shouldn’t take divorce lightly, as this is against the law and Jesus has commanded it. From the beginning, God has made men and women for his helpers, companions, so that the day they marry, they both cleave to one another and become one body.

With the change in time, people are fired with different conceptions and ideologies. They think the Bible is not for them, as it is too traditional, and so take blind decisions supporting as positive statement for why is there divorce. Let me tell you, in time and space, the Bible is an all-time editioned and is completely absolute for any generation as we go forth or back.

Finally, couples should avoid divorce. They should find out measures to unite, and sprout that bond of completeness within each other. So, pray for one another, and despise not, for it is not as per God’s purpose and plan, and hope to give you. When you start development in your relationship, you will see God’s providence and add meaning and sense to why God allowed no divorce.
